House of Pale is one of the recipes we’ve taken from our beloved mad laboratory in Copenhagen, BRUS. A New England pale ale with Ekuanot hops. It has seen many changes and tweaks over this year, experimenting with hop doses and overall ‘crispiness’ - and now we’re pretty sure we’ve got exactly what we’ve been looking for.

Spitfire is one of the UK’s best-loved beers with an international reputation as a Great British Classic. Since its inception as a one-off brew back in 1990, Spitfire has enjoyed phenomenal success, earning a Royal Warrant and protected status as a Kentish Ale. A true classic, Spitfire Amber (draught: 4.2% ABV; bottle/can/mini keg: 4.5% ABV) is the head of the Spitfire family and a true taste of Kent. It was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, played out in the skies above Kentish soil. It is brewed using 100% Kentish hops, the finest malt and water drawn from a well deep beneath Shepherd Neame’s Faversham brewery. Spitfire Amber combines the pick of Kentish hops (Target, Challenger, East Kent Goldings, First Gold) to layer bitter orange marmalade flavour on top of sweet biscuits and caramel malts for a peppery dry finish. While the great taste has remained constant throughout its history, the Spitfire family has grown to include golden ale and lager, each imbued with the distinctive Spitfire spirit. Staropramen Granat is a unique lager which proudly embodies our brewing traditions. This beer is made based on the original recipe from 1884. The special sprinkling process, mixing pale and specialty malts is what gives the beer its unique granat (ruby red) color. WHAT DOES IT EVEN MEAN ? Launching our Helles Lager. Helles is German for light, and this beer is in its simplicity a light lager, but beneath a seemingly uncomplicated surface there is depth and finesse. Unlike a pilsner where the hops play first violin, the malt takes the main role here and it trumpets a breadiness that takes you all the way to Bavaria. The slight sweetness is balanced by just the right amount of bitterness. Delicious! WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW THOUGH A classic German style helles. Pilsner malt with a touch of Munich and Mittelfruh hops layered throughout. Bright gold and brilliantly clear, a light malt sweetness with bread and biscuit notes and a crisp, clean finish. Refreshing and crushable!
