Citra and El Dorado is a combination that stretches all the way back to those heady days of Loka Polly when we were nought but a two man band. A fresh, bright, and bold twosome that pairs perfectly for one of our signature IPAs at that magic Polly’s 6.1% strength, we love how the freshly cut citrus fruit notes dance alongside sweaty mango, with a resinous backbone. How do you elevate that combination further though? We couldn’t look any further than the latest crop of Nectaron for Ficklefree. Absolutely blown away when we opened the bag and took in all those aromas, we’ve used this incredible NZ hop in abundance thanks to its ultra-high oil content to bring a tonne of zippy pineapple and passionfruit to this fruit-forward IPA. An IPA for the connoisseur - delicately layered, and supremely delicious.

House of Pale is one of the recipes we’ve taken from our beloved mad laboratory in Copenhagen, BRUS. A New England pale ale with Ekuanot hops. It has seen many changes and tweaks over this year, experimenting with hop doses and overall ‘crispiness’ - and now we’re pretty sure we’ve got exactly what we’ve been looking for.

Tropic Thunder Sour Fruit Ale Tropic Trio A sour fruit ale with mango, passion fruit, and peach. Sunshine in a can. Sweet! Born out of a conversation at a beer festival in Rimini, Italy, the idea behind this beer is as simple as it is complex: We wanted to make a beer that tastes like a popsicle. A beer as refreshing as those ice-cold, fruity treats we loved as kids. We brewed this beer, trying to create something we’d never done before. And you know what? We succeeded! Fusing what has become our house lactobacillus culture with all that fruit and then letting it ferment in a for us whole new way. It was an experiment, to say the least. Now, Tropic Thunder is a modern classic. A joint beery effort together with nomadic brewer Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal. And forever in our hearts. Fruity!

Named Cinq Cents in 75 cl (25.4 fl.oz.) bottles, this beer, with its typical golden color, slightly hazy appearance and fine head, is especially characterized by its aroma which results from an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. It was first brewed by the monks of Chimay at Scourmont Abbey in 1966. Above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that give this beer a particularly attractive aroma.

- Pivovary Staropramen, Czech Republic
Staropramen Granat is a unique lager which proudly embodies our brewing traditions. This beer is made based on the original recipe from 1884. The special sprinkling process, mixing pale and specialty malts is what gives the beer its unique granat (ruby red) color.

Spitfire is one of the UK’s best-loved beers with an international reputation as a Great British Classic. Since its inception as a one-off brew back in 1990, Spitfire has enjoyed phenomenal success, earning a Royal Warrant and protected status as a Kentish Ale. A true classic, Spitfire Amber (draught: 4.2% ABV; bottle/can/mini keg: 4.5% ABV) is the head of the Spitfire family and a true taste of Kent. It was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, played out in the skies above Kentish soil. It is brewed using 100% Kentish hops, the finest malt and water drawn from a well deep beneath Shepherd Neame’s Faversham brewery. Spitfire Amber combines the pick of Kentish hops (Target, Challenger, East Kent Goldings, First Gold) to layer bitter orange marmalade flavour on top of sweet biscuits and caramel malts for a peppery dry finish. While the great taste has remained constant throughout its history, the Spitfire family has grown to include golden ale and lager, each imbued with the distinctive Spitfire spirit. Today Spitfire has a dynamic new look reflecting the nature of the iconic plane that inspired its creation and befitting its status as an ale of substance and character.
