Big Black Salty

Big Black Salty Licorice Sour Reality Fantasy You need to see it through when you get an idea you just can’t shake. And this is one of those ideas. Big Black Salty is a black sour beer with licorice and salt. Alluring, like an 80’s black light poster. Enticing, like a stroboscope. All that candy. Bag it! Many years ago, we took inspiration from candy and brewed a one-off, 3,5% vol. beer called Black Apple. A black sour beer! An apple and licorice sour beer. It did not take long for that beer to become one of our most requested beers to bring back. So a few years later, we did another one-off, a bigger one. The new version was a 6% vol. Bigger, blacker, and applier. A beer placed somewhere between fantasy and reality. It still had all the properties of the original beer, just more of them. Since then, Big Black Apple has become a grail for many. So when it was time to bring back the apple beer, we thought it only appropriate to let it come back with a friend. That friend was Big Black Violet. And now, we’re extending the family even further! Big Black Salty is the most obvious never done beer ever. Be a pioneer. Black hole!

Previously sold in the UK in gold coloured labels/cans as Carlsberg Export. The current UK Carlsberg Export is the same as the standard Carlsberg Export. In Italy this one is sold as "Carlsberg Pilsner" with 5% ABV.

House of Pale is one of the recipes we’ve taken from our beloved mad laboratory in Copenhagen, BRUS. A New England pale ale with Ekuanot hops. It has seen many changes and tweaks over this year, experimenting with hop doses and overall ‘crispiness’ - and now we’re pretty sure we’ve got exactly what we’ve been looking for.

- Pivovary Staropramen, Czech Republic
Staropramen Granat is a unique lager which proudly embodies our brewing traditions. This beer is made based on the original recipe from 1884. The special sprinkling process, mixing pale and specialty malts is what gives the beer its unique granat (ruby red) color.

Spitfire is one of the UK’s best-loved beers with an international reputation as a Great British Classic. Since its inception as a one-off brew back in 1990, Spitfire has enjoyed phenomenal success, earning a Royal Warrant and protected status as a Kentish Ale. A true classic, Spitfire Amber (draught: 4.2% ABV; bottle/can/mini keg: 4.5% ABV) is the head of the Spitfire family and a true taste of Kent. It was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, played out in the skies above Kentish soil. It is brewed using 100% Kentish hops, the finest malt and water drawn from a well deep beneath Shepherd Neame’s Faversham brewery. Spitfire Amber combines the pick of Kentish hops (Target, Challenger, East Kent Goldings, First Gold) to layer bitter orange marmalade flavour on top of sweet biscuits and caramel malts for a peppery dry finish. While the great taste has remained constant throughout its history, the Spitfire family has grown to include golden ale and lager, each imbued with the distinctive Spitfire spirit. Today Spitfire has a dynamic new look reflecting the nature of the iconic plane that inspired its creation and befitting its status as an ale of substance and character.
