- Schlenkerla ("Heller-Bräu" Trum), Germany
“Schlenkerla Helles” is brewed with fine Bavarian aroma hops from the area around the city of Nürnberg. It's lagered in century old caves underneath the historic Schlenkerla brewery and maltings. Schlenkerla Helles is boiled in the same copper kettles and bottom fermented by the same yeast as the historic Schlenkerla Smokebeer. Its subtle smokiness without using smoke malt makes “Helles Schlenkerla Lager” a unique representative of the classic lager beer style “Bavarian Helles”.

PATRONS PROJECT 34.05 // WHEEL OF FORTUNE // AMY HASTINGS // UCHU BREWING // FRUITED IPA
- IPA - Fruited

- Northern Monk, England
We could all do with some good luck, and good karma. For the latest Amy Hastings release, we have turned to the Wheel of Fortune. For the collaborating brewery, we were thrilled to be able to invite UCHU BREWING, all the way from Hokuto, Japan. We are only the second ever UK brewery to collab with them, and we’re proud to have secured them for a brew day for Wheel of Fortune, and if you were lucky enough to try their beers at Hop City, you’ll know just how good they are. With Amy’s artwork, we picked out lots of astrological symbolism, picking out links to water, Mercury, and salt, which we translated into water – a pretty essential part of beer; the colour red, with flavours of strawberry, cherry, and raspberry; a nod to Gose beers, known for their high salinity; and IPAs, where sulphur, and sulphates, have a big impact on hop expression and bitterness. The result from all that is a 6.0% Salted Berry IPA, hopped with three formats of Mosaic to accentuate the berry fruit character, with a high salinity contributing to a very full mouthfeel.

- Shepherd Neame, England
Spitfire is one of the UK’s best-loved beers with an international reputation as a Great British Classic. Since its inception as a one-off brew back in 1990, Spitfire has enjoyed phenomenal success, earning a Royal Warrant and protected status as a Kentish Ale. A true classic, Spitfire Amber (draught: 4.2% ABV; bottle/can/mini keg: 4.5% ABV) is the head of the Spitfire family and a true taste of Kent. It was first brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, played out in the skies above Kentish soil. It is brewed using 100% Kentish hops, the finest malt and water drawn from a well deep beneath Shepherd Neame’s Faversham brewery. Spitfire Amber combines the pick of Kentish hops (Target, Challenger, East Kent Goldings, First Gold) to layer bitter orange marmalade flavour on top of sweet biscuits and caramel malts for a peppery dry finish. While the great taste has remained constant throughout its history, the Spitfire family has grown to include golden ale and lager, each imbued with the distinctive Spitfire spirit. Today Spitfire has a dynamic new look reflecting the nature of the iconic plane that inspired its creation and befitting its status as an ale of substance and character.

Previously sold in the UK in gold coloured labels/cans as Carlsberg Export. The current UK Carlsberg Export is the same as the standard Carlsberg Export. In Italy this one is sold as "Carlsberg Pilsner" with 5% ABV.
